Just need a confirmation that what I've done will be ok, my heads hurting.

I think I've managed to get it set but had to go an awkward way round of doing it. I've done it as per the manual but my map is all to cock for my new engine and it's hunting on idle (cams).

due to the hunting on idle I cant get a clear view with the timing light so I've altered the map so that the timing cannot move from 15 when a few revs are applied (not hunting with revs). The ecu now shows 15 and when I alter the timing on the ecu map to say 10 it matches the timing light when set to 10.

Will this be set?

cheers
Andy

i run type b poncams with wernierpilleys in atandard position with low compression forged pistons, probably similar to your set up with no idle hunting, although i still use standatd inlet plenum
