So I picked up a Tomei 1.2 mm head gasket for the GTR, if I install this will I need to have the Power FC remapped? I had it tuned already and do not want to mess up the settings. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Is there something wrong with the gasket in there at the moment?

If not, put the Tomei away until you need to take the head off. Standard gaskets can handle large amounts of power, so metal HG not really required.

Nothing wrong with the stock head gasket,....hmm you probably correct. How much boost can a standard Rb26 head gasket handle?

There are a number of tuners suggesting they are good for well over 600bhp. certainly 1.5bar boost.

I am approaching that number. Currently 550. But will probably stay that way for a bit.
