One of our latest products, and one that I think you guys will really appreciate :).

Driftworks Total HICAS Eliminator kit for:
R32 GTSt
R32 GTR
R33 GTSt
R33 GTR
R34 GTT
R34 GTR
+ All other HICAS equipped Nissans

This kit removes every part of the HICAS Steering rack, tie rod, tie rod ends and ball joint. It replaces the entire system with a heavy duty bracket and Toe rod conversion. The mounting point of the toe rod is exactly the same as a non HICAS subframe, so there are no funny alignment issues.

Driftworks Total HICAS Eliminator
£195.00 inc VAT

Fitted one of these at the weekend. After doing it once, with the right tools its an easy job. The difference it makes is unbelievable!! The car feels like new. Drifts easier ( not everyone might want that), car feels like it goes were im telling it to now rather than the HICAS messing with things. Absolutely savage piece of kit!!

No pics lad sorry. I just removed everything( all piping, valves, solenoid and power steering cooler) and routed the feed for the HICAS valve coming off the power sterring pump into the rubber return pipe just under the power steering reservoir. If im under the car on sunday ill get a pic of the pipe i re-routed.

A lockout bar just replaces the HICAS steering rack. The Total HICAS Eliminator does what it says on the tin. It get's rid of all of the fragile HICAS system, replacing the weak and prone to faliure tie rods, and the ball joints in the hub ends, as well as the steering rack :).

fitted this last week. bit of a job. had to remove hubs and press the balljoints out ( took 6.5 tons on mates press) car feels so much more planted at the back now though. well worth the effort
cheers
what did you do with the remaining plugs/wiring? just tape them up? do you have the hicas bulb on the dash?

plugs were taped inside a plastic bag and tied to the subframe.

as for the hicas light - its on - tried removing the hicas ecu but this turned off the power steering so it went back in. apparently you can remove the bulb (dash out?) or work out which wire to cut.
i believe bigchief has a bit of tape over his lol

The HICAS computer is underneath the parcel shelf, it is to the right of centre (when looking in from the boot). Unplug the smaller of the two plugs in the back of it and then cut the green with white trace line wire. You can also just leave the smaller of the two harnesses out and it does the same thing, no ill effects and no HICAS light.
