thanks for reply eddie, but, no its pretty constant... gets better if tyre is inflated slightly higher than drivers side...
when i got back from hols the tyre pressure on passenger side was at 15psi. could it be a damaged tyre???
but tracking defo needs to be checked, garage strongly advise it, plus tyres are not cheap for these things...
ineed tracking settings, any ideas where i can get from???
someone must know, i cant believe only a couple of us have asked for this.
wot might be good idea is seperate section that gives complete set up figures for every bit of car - ie. timing, alignments, tracking etc...

many thanks guys...
just been having a discussion with a colleague about car... she reckons i should just buy a focus or something... huh!! obviously does not understand the skyline concept thingy.
it costs a fortune, constantly requires attention but oooohhhhh so good.
should store all this helpful info in a seperate section me thinks. i am going to set up a file with all the juicy bits in it for future reference so hopefully i can repay the favours of information some time :)

Sh1T....! just ad a look.. inside tyre wall on passenger side completely shredded - metal strands poking through (Bridgestone tyre) but rest ok, drivers side also badly worn on inside only, rest ok, not half as bad as passenger (running on goodyear) cant be good running to different tyres with different treads either!
i must pay more attention...:)

Once again thanks for help...
just to let you know i have now had tracking checked and was only 30mins out.
the problem was the faulty goodyear tyre it seems. mmm...
to be safe i have had four new tyres fitted and tracking done anyway... not looking froward to getting bill

UNBERLIEVABLE transformation.... really feels like the HICAS is doing its job as well.
makes a massive difference having the same tyres with same tread all round and wheels all pointing in the correct position!
noticed a few splitting bushes whilst under car... i seem to remeber reading ( in think on skylines down under) that they are identical to ford escort/capri bushes for the suspension and therefore you save a fortune if they need replacing? anyone else heard of this or got any thoughts on it????

I want to get my tracking checked - which places do you folks recommend (or more importantly which places do you recommend I DONT use)?? If it wasn't so far i'd ask Richard to do it so will have to be a local tyre place I guess. Are the Kwik Fit type outfits going to be able to do it?

Anywhere around Nottingham people can recommend?

Thanks. James.

Ok, so I went to a local tyre place whos been very helpful in the past and asked him "Not round here mate, it'll be Nottingham or Nissan". Nearest was the Nissan garage at Mansfield so I asked them if they did 4 wheel laser alignment "No sorry but Mansfield Tyres do". Only down the road so I popped in. They had no details for any Skylines but I said I could get the numbers and would ring them. Asked how much "about £35, most cars are about that although it might differ depending on how much of a job it is to adjust the cams/shims or whatever. Either way won't be more than £100".
Hundred quid?? bit different to 35!

Best bit was getting cumfy in a beautiful 350Z. Only £28200 on the windscreen too. Bargain. :(
