Sorry for asking, but did you obtain your quote locally,or from a National type tyre company.
The reason I ask is that probably I will need a set of 4 for my car this year, though the size would be different at 4 x 285 x 30 x 19, and I am struggling to find anybody to give me a price for them.
From what I know, I would have thought that the price you been quoted is quite reasonable.

Regards, Dave.

Thanks Paul, I will ask them to give me a price, but I think the problem seems to be the size that Top Secret decided would be the best all round size to use on the car.

Hi Alex,
The tye size was chosen by Top Secret as they knew it would be used in the UK. and I have had no problems at all with them, bear in mind I only do about 5000km. a year, and that is normal road use, not track.
To make you possibly feel better about your tyre costs, it looks like the tyres for mine are going to be about 360 pounds each.
I paid £126 a corner for dunlop sport max tyres i found on my old cars toyo's wear loads, but thats a bosting price mate bet u smiled when he quoted you!
whaaaaaaat!! £360 each!! there will be no burn outs with them fellas lol.

aye a thought it was a gid price too, the goodyear ones are only £15 quid more per tyre.

im just tryin to get the car ready for summer so its ready to play
Just had a set of goodyear eagles fitted to mine 265 35 18 rear and 235 40 18 front just under 500 quid.
Very impressed with them in a different league to the falkens that were on.
