Has any1 got 265s on the rear end of a GTSt?

Ive got to replace my rears & am thinking about going up from 255 - 265.

What size rims you got Ed ? If you go too big on too narrow rims they may roll over on heavy cornering.

With 1 eye? Had a quick look. I` shall have a god read tomorrow.
Didn`t realise that the rolling radius would affect fuel consumption. Lots to read & learn here i think. Good link Buster.

Ive already got 255s. Well i did have they`re in the bin now.
265s is what im thinking about.

Just measured me wheels & to my supprise the fronts are 17x9 & the rears are 17x10. Woohoo. Will 265s fit on them?

If youve measured em right "one eye" I am sure they will.
Tyre shop will say for sure unless its Kwik **** then they will try to sell you a new bottom half for you car

Grip in the wet is already kak. But more grip in the dry? Yeh baby im up for some of dat.

Thanks for info on tyres, little concerned about sva test the car has differnt alloy wheels, non standard exhaust and god nows what else is not standard. Do cars have problems with the test because of things the japs have put on them???????
