It depends if the tyres have the load and speed ratings moulded into the sidewall (as well as an E mark) and if they have that the load and speed ratings are appropriate for the vehicle that they are on. This will depend on what you put down as the top speed of the vehicle on your SVA application.
If these are missing then a letter to confirm there suitablilty can be sought from the manufacturer HOWEVER it does depend on which station you take it to and the wording of the letter.
I had a bit of grief with this but managed to borrow a set of rims with UK tyres on from a mate!
