Just replaced my front brakes and frightenend myself silly when I saw the offside front tyre was down to the fabric casing on the inner 2 inches but 5mm on the outside - no wonder I had a slow leak! The nearside is also wearing in a similar way, but not as badly.
I've done a search and the conclusion is the camber is out as the wear is smooth with no ridges. Most of the causes seemed to be due to lowered suspension. I had all wheels aligned when I first had the car 3 years ago and haven't hit anything to upset it! Car is standard on standard tyres.
One thread suggested the lower suspension arm fluid filled bush. Is that a correct diagnosis? If so, I assume that it's an easy job, assuming standard bushes going back?
Thanks in advance
