Im trying not to repeat threads already done here, but im looking for ( on my GTS-T R33 ) new tyres, either just the two backs needing doing or all 4 in one go and i think im decided on what to go for. BUT, my wheels are standard 16 inch, and i have the size 225/50 Z(r)s all round, but once the output goes up by say 50BHP plus, would it make sense to get wider tyres ? And if so, how wide and low can you go on the standard 16 inch rims ? ( IE could you stick 255/40 or 45 s or similar on ? ).

And, if anyone knows of any good deals going down, let me know. Im looking mainly for good wet tyres as winter is nearly here and the weather up here is going from wet to very wet. Thanks !

PS) I know little about tyres, just the basics, but we all start somewhere in learning about these things.
