Do I need to underseal my GTT?

I will only be using it on weekends and will never really use it directly after roads have been gritted and predominantly only in the dry.

Trouble is, the money to do this is exactly the same as the new downpipes - its all about priorites:confused:

Can't remember how much, but Richard Bell was offering to do this a few months back.

Search the threads (possibly in the trade section) and see what you can find.

Thanks Martin,
Richard was offering £185 for this - I am just unsure how necesary it will be with my usage and it would leave less in the tuning pot if I have it done and does not seem quite as exciting as downpipes or something.

My thinking exactly, its about exciting as taxing the car or driving my daily driver after weekend in the Skyline :D

My concern is what happens if I do not bother to underseal - do the R34s really need it?

In all honesty its probably a good idea. Think it lasts about 10 years or something (maybe wrong though, usually am) and will stop the beast from rotting underneath.
Another plus side it makes the car look clean underneath :D
