well my car has just been back to the garage i bought it from for the 3rd time as it was cutting out all the time and would you believe it it cut out 7 times in a space of 10 miles so today its going back again as im totally fed up with the shite the man is spilling me ,yes i maybe a girl but i know when a car is just not right ,i want to be safe in a car and not worry when i get to a busy round about that i might not make it round it lol will let u know the out come

Hun if he wont take you seriously then take a male friend, I know you shouldnt have to, but sometimes needs must. I hope you get it sorted soon, just dont take any shite. I normally play dumb and see if they are going to spout BS and then I embarass them by asking them why they lied to me.

If they are not going to sort it out, the mention of trading standards may give em a little incentive to get it sorted, especially if you have just bought the car. Good luck Topknot

well got my car back and yes its still cutting out so guess what its going back again today they say its been supt up and had all the filters ect changed but took it home and it cut out on a busy roundabout,i was bouncing as they told me they had sorted the problem my arse so we will see what they do to it this time haha

if it's cutting out all the time it's more than likely going to be the AFM, Lambda/O2 sensor, ICV (idle control valve) or the coil packs

name and shame- all i know is hes a specialist from holywell north wales with his own garage and more updates to come

well boys and girls:cheers:
ive got my car back after last posting here
been a while ah
my fella had told the garage where i had bought the car
the problem which was the cutting out
and to check the air flow meter
but they checked
crank sensor
and ecu
and fuel pump
and ignition
so that cost them a bit
instead of checking the air flow
from the start
they wouldnt have had me like a
screaming banchie
what a load of ball bags:spank::Uzi:
