Just in case anyones interested...

A few months ago now I uprated my uk spec R34's sound system a little so if anyone wants any info or pictures let me know.

I fitted a Kenwood Steering wheel remote control and an active Kenwood subwoofer with adjustible bass and frequency points using a remote control mounted in the centre console (which fits neatly into the passenger side footwell quite nicely).

This all works perfectly with the uk spec cars factory fit Kenwood KRC head unit and is a noticeable improvement in usability and sound quality of bass without compromising on boot space or being labelled as a boy racer.

and here's the sub itself.. fitted discretely in the passenger side footwell beneth the glove box..

its a Kenwood 'Woox' which really has a nice bass kick (sounds like a 10") but is one of the new technology flat speakers, the unit also includes an active built in amp... connects using left and right audio outputs from the kenwood factory head unit...

here's the steering controls (bought from Halfords of all places for £20)... This was fitted just below where the ignition key is.
