My window won't close, I have tryed replacing the little black box (behind the door card) to no avail, what needs replacing in light of this?

Any help appreciated as my window is fully retracted and I can't sit in the car all night!

Thanks

Aidan

Is it doing anything? The motor making a noise or is it completely dead?

Sorry, I know nothing at all about electonics.

So I just need to get a length of wire and connect it from the +'ve terminal and attach it to the motor?

Cheers

Thanks for all the replys.

Me and a coulple of friends worked out the relay was fine but the motor is gone, but it is ok for now.

If anyone searches "window problem" in the future I took of 4 bolts behind the door card holding the motor up ( to the left of the door), while holding the glass up, then put a length of wood to support the glass, untill I can get it to a garage, before the car fills with rain or is broken into.

Sounds simple but had me stumped.

Yup, I never got round to trying your suggestion as we worked out the motor was gone straight away, rather than the relay, but thanks for the input :)
