Water temp sensor location & o2 sensor question

Just a couple of quick questions for you guys.

Firstly, where about's is the water temp sensor fitted on the rb25det? Not looked yet, presuming it can't be too hard to locate but thought I'd ask while I was here.

Second question. How many o2 sensors should there be in the exhaust system of the rb25det? I know there is supposed to be on in the cat and the turbo elbow.

For some reason the one that was meant to be in the cat on mine had been cut off. I have an Apexi power fc ecu so I just presumed it didn't need that one? The one in the turbo elbow is still in tact though so I was just wondering if I need to replace the one in what's now the de-cat section or does the power fc just need the one in the turbo elbow?

Thanks in advance.. :)

There are two temp sensors, One is single pin which reads for your gauge and the other is two pin which reads for your ECU to adjust fuelling on cold start etc. These are both very easy to locate at the front left of the timing belt cover by the injectors. Or even on the thermostat outlet pipe.

There should only be one lambda sensor on a 25DET in the stock elbow, the cat one is just a temp sensor. Many people do away with these when they decat.

See the red one in the pic? And there's another one coming off the head.

Ok mate that's cleared that up! It's the ecu sensor I'm after, going to replace it soon. Which one is the ecu sensor?

Thanks buddy :)
