We need a mechanic!

We are recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic vehicle technician / mechanic. This is a full time permanent role based at our workshop near Newbury in Berkshire.

You will be working as the primary mechanic on mainly high performance Japanese cars. You will be servicing, repairing, fitting parts and setting cars up for road, track and drift

Key tasks:
Carry out part fitting and servicing customer cars
Strapping down and preparing cars for use on our rolling road
Wheel alignment using our 4-wheel alignment machine
Perform basic metal work fabrication
Work to a very high standard and get tasks done correctly first time
Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times
Maintain and update your individual experience, skills and knowledge

You must:
Have at least 3 years experience in a workshop or garage as a mechanic / technician
Be confident to work on brake systems, change clutches, remove and fit engines, work on electrical problems and carry out servicing
Have a passion for performance cars
Have basic computer skills
Have good communication and client facing skills
Be keen to learn more about the cars we specialise in
Hold a valid full UK driving licence.

You will have support and training in the areas in which you work.

As a member of H-Dev you will be welcome to attend track days and race events we attend or compete in. You will also have access to the workshop equipment after hours.

Hours are 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Sometimes you may be required to work Saturdays or Sundays

Salary will depend on experience. 25 days paid holiday per year plus bank holidays.

Must be ready to start with us from the 15th March
