I,m just about to replace the headgasket on my RB25DET with a steel 1.9mm one.
What bar boost is safe with standard internals? i know 1.2bar was the limit with the standard headgasket, but how far can i go after the replacement/
I,m also fitting a new turbo that will easily do 2bar

the std hg is 0.9mm for the gtst so 1.9mm sounds very thick and may make the car laggy
off full boost, I would be looking at 1.2mm same as the GTR
I spoke to richard about the HG on ours, as far as we know it's a std item but we didn't need to change it unless it actually went or we went for 500 bhp?

I've read somewhere here that boost is that kills firstly the motor.
But it doesn't make sense..
Somenone said that the result is the same if you have a highflow OEM past 1.2 bar and a T88.
But i disagree with this..
