Hi guys i need some help! Changed the dashboard lights today put it all back together, checked and it all lit up working fine so put rest of dash back together,conected fog light swith up (think i conected it wrong way round) and now nothing lights up at all, doest even make that annoying beeping noise when you leave headlights on! All the speedo rev counter ect work, headlights work just no dash lights apart from the ones that come on when ignition is turned ie airbag,engine warning,oil ect. Please help as its sending me mad!! thanks:swear:

hi mate
dont know if this will help but when i changed all the bulbs on almera gti i put the new ones in the wrong way
in the end had to fit the new ones with the dash connected and lights on
pain in the ass as you have to do it buy touch but worked


also have you checked all the fuses


sorry just reread your post they were working till you connected the fog switch the wrong way??
if so sounds like a fuse has gone

ok i taken all the fuses out and they all seen fine, so know i haven't got a clue what to do!!:uhoh:

Did you check the fuse box in the boot?

ive only checked the fuses in the drivers foot well, i didn't know there were more in the boot!! i'll pull them out and have a look, thanks!

yep it will be one of the fuese in the boot along side the battery

Errr...... yep it was one in the boot! changed it and everthing works fine now!
