The car supposedly has a 2 stage manual boost controller, but it's not used at the moment? Anyway, the car hits just over 0.5bar boost at the moment.

I was thinking the next mod should be a EBC? What say you?? :)

its there new piggy back fuel computer, it alters the afm signal to make the ecu either add or remove a set amount of fuel.

aftermarket ecu or apexi safc2/neo and a mapping is what you need next and you will see 320BHP

So if you say EBC + AFC is gonna be about 400ish, then mapping on top (£250?)

Aren't you just as well spending an extra £100 or so and getting a Apexi PFC?

There's a sticky in the tuning section at the top on the order of how to tune the RB25DET.

I should have a unichip with boost controller module any day now.

Is it worth getting a FPR and Uprated pump before the unichip is mapped, or with the above mods is there no point at the moment?

i dont rate the unichip tbh, better getting a PFC if possible. Also if I was in your situation and had enough money for a new pump I would for piece of mind if nothing else, but I wouldn't say it was required as such.

I had a unichip on my old MR2 Turbo a few years back and it done the job great. I think for the time being it'll do fine. Possibly down the line if I decide to go mad on the engine side of things, then I'll need to swap for something like a Apexi PFC etc.

funny you should say that, there the only cars i have seen good results on. Not entirely sure why but it must be something to do with the stock map :)

I've seen good results on other cars.

Will just have to wait and see. lol.

Like I said in another thread. It can't be any worse than a EBC and AFC, can it?
