I just recently bought a 98 R33 gts (so im very new to skylines) and ive been looking at stuff on ebay and some say this item will fit series 1 R33 and some say Series 2 R33...I was wondering what is the difference, do I have a series one or series two?

If someone could clear this up for me would be much a apprecated.

98 i would say series 2, do a search as this has been covered 1000's of times

Main differences are the kit, headlights, bonnet and the coilpack amp...

dash surface is rougher on spec 2 and seats have sissy-style pattern aswell

this does cover this basically quite well under 1996 r33.

don't forget the 'skyline' on the back: spec 1 clear glass type, spec 2 colour coded metal type......as far as i know anyway.

clear panel was an option on early series 1 GTS's only, with optional lighting.

Keep in mind the series 2 also has revised fuel map (no noticable on the street)
