can anybody clear up the confusion about the turbo needle on a GTST....
on my car it goes between +7 to -7 and the units are x100mmhg...to me that means when the needle is at +7 it means 700mmhg which is atmospheric pressure or in lay mans terms the air we breathe.
can anybody shed light on the subject???:smoker:

AFAIK it means 700mmhg above atmospheric pressure. Its the same thing with an aftermarket boost gauge reading in BAR. When a turbo is making 1 BAR it is actually making 1 BAR above atmospheric pressure (1 BAR) so in theory its making 2 BAR if that makes sense.
