hi peps

im running a hks 2540 & all the supporting mods

mods
apexi filter,
power fc,
blitz dual sbc boost controller,
walbro fuel pump,
650cc inj,
fmic,
splitfires,
270 degree cams,
s/s manifold,
1.8mm headgasket.

i guess my question is how far can you push this turbo ?

i was talking to another fella whos running a hks 2535 & pushing 400 bhp

what is the diference betwwen a hks 2540 & a hks 2535 ?

ive just recently had the cams, z32afm, 650cc inj & s/s manifold & headgasket put on & because of a intercooler pipe (dam pipe) it could only be tuned to 0.9 bar but prior to all this being done it was running 380bhp @1.2 bar
so what sort of performance should i be expecting when finished ?

with that turbo and those mods with proper tuning, i think you would be close to 450.

the main difference between the 2535 and 2540 is lag. the 2540 is quite laggy in comparison to the 2530 and 2535, but imo it isnt THAT bad, but there is a difference. iirc the exhaust side is a bit larger so you should have a bit more potential power with it. My friend has one, he's getting mapped next week.

Hi5 is spot on (as per usual )

The 2535 is rated at 330bhp at the wheels. The 2540 is rated to 340bhp (maybe a bit more). So running it with those supporting mods at 1.1-1.2 bar should give around 400bhp at the fly or more depending on how good the map/car is
