hi , i want to get rid of the double din head unit that came with the car, and replace it with a sinlgle din unit. wot i would like to no is would this work , in filling the gap that would be left after the double din is out and the single is in.?

you can get a flip storage section that bolts to the original double din cage, I got mine from JDM

there are loads of options out there. I have a storage tray type thing from an evo in mine. Screwes in as the head unit does. You can also get slide out cup holders to go in there.

What i think is a good idea and what i will convert mine to would be place a couple of gauges in a plate in the gap. Great use of the space.
