Driving to work along the motorway and a lorry driver in the left lane had his window down and what I thought looked like his hand cupped around his ear. As I got up to the cab he gave me the 'thumb and index finger in a circle' gesture. I had to turn the volume up for him...

Went to the shop last night for some Jaffa cakes (I drive it every day and still look for excuses to take it out!) and the guy next to me at the counter asked if I was the guy who just drove past him in a Skyline. He started talking about how great the engines are and how they're awesome cars etc. etc.

People hanging out of cars, turning round in flat-bed transits, folks turning round as you go past in the street, people looking at the exhaust when behind you... Don't you just love driving these cars!

The funniest one for me was when driving in a small village in West Sussex and there was a 9ish year old boy walking along with a 9ish year old girl and the boy tugged the girl really hard on the arm and pointed at the car shouting, "You see that car,? They're flame throwers they are!"

Was pulling out of mum and dads road today with mum and my nan in the car. As we got to the bottom of the road and were turning right a van which was driving along the road at the bottom nearly went straight into a lorry parked at the side of the road because he was leaning so far out his window smiling and looking at it.

I work in primary schools, and used to have my car as my laptop wallpaper had more than one occasion when sub 10 yearold has said 'look its that car from gran tourismo!!'
Was in traffic a good few months back, and two girls in an XR2 or something equally essex were behind me, not only did they have thier faces against the windscreen, but looing in the rear view mirror, i could see them mouthing the name 'skyline!'

Ive had the car for just over year and a half, and still amazed at peoples reactions to it! :) and its one of the softer looking GTS's :)

Remember when me ol bird was driving my car as her's was palyin up. We pulled up outside the bank (i was behind her in her micra!) and two lads were shouting bad ass car darling you gotta a boyfriend...make it wheel spin etc etc. doubt they would have said anything if i was driving it. Typical reaction to a tall blonde bird in a decent car i suppose.

Or a short one in Lisas case :D

Was sat in a KFC car park earlier today scoffing down my chicken fillet tower burger meal when a 17-18 year old looking kid pulls up on his bike next to me. He looked so happy to see the car it was like there was a TV screen inside it with a porn film playing on it. He knew his stuff though, was talking to me about all wheel drive and all wheel steer etc. He even cancelled two phone calls on his mobile just to continue talking to me about the car. lol

:D mentioning kids asking for a display... :)
I strayed into Clacton high street a while back to score some mac donalds... the high street is the local boy racer hangout, and as such the council has mined it with lots of big sleeping policemen...

I roll out of said restaurant with drinks burgers and fries... balance food in car and proceed to very gingerly make my way over the firstsleeping policeman, wincing as i watch the drinks try to free themselves!

draw level with boy racers and soon 'skyline' has rippled through the ranks of basebal caps...!

one voice bellows out over the rest...

'go on then.... DRIVE IT!!!' muppet! :D dont you just love 'em!!

A couple of years ago when we first got our liner, we went down to the local fish & chip shop for a feed, on exiting the shop we saw there were these 2 young boys (10 or 11) by the car there bikes had been dropped on the ground, as they went round the car to have a better look. We stood back, curious to see what they were up to. One of them was checking out the exhaust pipe at the back (4" tip), and the other one said "you know skylines have over 500hp and can go over 250km an hour". At that me and my partner had to laugh, we came too the conclusion that these 2 young lads had been playing a bit too much gran turismo.
