Hi There,

Yes you need to send your ecu in to have it done. I do have a few spare ecu`s so could do one on a exchange but would require a £80 refundable deposit as some people have not been returning the old units.

What Exact mods do you need for this ECU?

For it to work at its best you need the following :-

Exhaust system including decat (downpipe is optional as we found it makes no difference at this power), Front mount intercooler, Induction kit and either a boost controller or bleed valve to allow boost to be set at .85b.

With the above ecu you should expect 300-320bhp on a healthy engine.

Hi, i am really interested in this ECU. I want to keep my own ECU so i can go back to stock when my vehicle test comes around on a yearly bases. How much would it be to buy the chipped ecu delivered to Northern ireland.

Have replied to your PM but you did not mention buying one out right in the PM. We do not have and spare at the moment but you should not have any issues test wise with the stage 1 ecu which will save you the cost of a ecu.
