Parking at Stansted ain't TOO bad price wise mate. Damned site better than Heathrow anyway.

I live nearby mate and used to work there, I wouldn't park my car anywhere else, theres always security or police patrolling the car parks so it's well worth paying the money. Long stay doesn't work out to be that bad.

As for the local area, i wouldn't even consider leaving it in Bishops Stortford, theres a little village around the back of the airport called Molehill Green, but then you got the problem of getting from the village to the airport.

 

it seems to be about £30 a week it will cost !

Told you it was fairly cheap.
Only thing I will say about the long term parking there is the time it can take to get back to your car. If you end up parking way out in the 'Z' zones then it seems to take forever.
Still, reasonably secure there which is a bonus.

 

coolio, I'll be leaving the shed in the car patk, so as long as it is still there and I can drive it, not too bothered !

its going to be all knocked down due to expanding Stansted soon so better not park there

 

good point...come back to find your car sitting in the middle of a big hole!!!

 

And there is a free bus ride included in the price. Tight git, get and pay like the rest of us

 

I could by a plane that can take off from my drive and fly myself there each week !
