im 99% sure a set of rb26 (r32/early r33) will fit the rb20. You'll also need an rb26 resistor pack if you go this route

you will need a remap as the car will be all confuzzled!

my car has just been mapped to 370bhp. im running 444cc injectors.

you need to see weather your car has the high or low impediance injectors, when i did my research it looked like the r32 came with both.

if it has a little silver box on the nearside inner wing then there low, and you can run either gtr or gti-r injectors like me.

failing that s15 injectors are also 444 and will fit if you need the high impediance.

 

what do you mean by nearside inner wing? that would be awesome if some rb20s came with resistor packs. also from what i understand you need one resistor pack to run low impediance, or do you need one per injector? feel free to laugh if this is a dumb question.

 

yes you are correct you only need one resistor pack to run all the injectors. you will find this passenger side wing on front of the suspension turret in the engine bay small silver box as stated above.

 

ive researched the part number off that box ( A15-000J01), and everything i find points towards that being for the fuel pump and not the injectors. and is r32ash saying he installed gtr injectors without any ballast pack wired in and is running fine?

 

cool good news haha. i was dreading i might have to wire in 6 of those things. ill look for the risister pack tomorrow. would be amazing if i already had one .

 

make sure you get yourself a proper hybrid by CR turbos.

make sure its built into your housing (the rb20 one.) the rb25 housing is lagfgy on the rb20.

youll need some rb26 injectors and a resistor pack..

this involves cutting into the injector loom and re wiring the 12v side of the loom to the injector via the res pack.

youll need a z32 afm also with your nistune.

 

yep! it looks like my car had the resistor pack from new as some came with them. i fitted 6 x 444cc injectors from a gti-r(same as a gtr) and had it mapped to 370bhp.

it runs perfect!
