Hi Guys , I was on my way to racewars Fri night in my S1 GTST and whilst doing 50mph on the m1 my cambelt snapped Ouch!
Soo bent valves if i'm lucky and a hole in the pistons too if im not!
Q/ obviously if its made a mess of the head it being alloy and all i need a new head But' if the valves are bent can i put new guides/seals in and regrind the seats if theyr'e not missing chunks? Oh and it wont budge ive tried to rock it slightly and its locked solid.
Ill prob be looking at new cams for drag racing and a thicker HG while its all on the bench if anyone whos done this could guide me? Im happy and confident to do it all myself.
